Stoa USA Competition Prep
Help for Students Competing in Stoa USA Events
Eligible Christian homeschool students ages 12-18 may compete in Stoa USA speech and debate events. You can find complete eligibility guidelines on the Stoa website here.
Stoa USA offers the opportunity to participate in 12 speech events and 3 debate events. At the culmination of the year, invitations are extended to the National Invitational Tournament of Champions. Students across the US receive invitations based upon their performance in local and regional competitions.

- Dramatic Interpretation
- Apologetics
- Extemporaneous
- Mars Hill
- Impromptu
- Expository Speaking
- Original Oratory
- Persuasive
- Wildcard Event (Changes bi-annually)
Debate
- Lincoln-Douglas
- Team Policy
- Parliamentary
